What this storefront records, what the lines you buy handle, and who else ever touches any of it.

Who is answerable

The company behind the Shop CyberDefense name is Fortify 24x7, and it answers for this page. It decides what happens to anything reaching the storefront, and to anything the lines you buy generate once working. Every we on this page means Fortify 24x7. Whatever is unclear can go to support@shopcyberdefense.com, and a person will look at it.

What the storefront itself records

Nothing clever runs on these pages. There are no advertising pixels. Your visit is never turned into a profile. No marketing script is borrowed from anybody.

The order formLines and counts you write down are kept by the browser itself, under the key scd_cart. Nothing travels off that machine until a checkout is under way, and wiping browser storage wipes the form too.
The account sessionSigning in drops a token into your browser under scd_portal_session so that every page does not ask over again. Signing out throws that token away.
Server logsOur billing service writes the ordinary technical fields into a log on every call. Those logs are opened while chasing down a fault or an abuse, and are put to no use beyond that.

What buying something reveals

The checkout is Stripe's. Its page collects the number on the card, the expiry, and the three digit code on its reverse; ours sees none of the three. Not one of them travels here, shows on a screen at this end, or lands in a system we own.

Back from Stripe returns no more than an account cannot do without: an address for email, the company name, lines ordered with their counts, how the subscription is faring, and the two references Stripe holds for customer and for subscription.

What the stocked lines handle

Operating these platforms for you means we handle what your enrolled systems produce. Which detail applies depends on the aisles you bought from.

  • Aisle 1. How processes behave, which files and connections they touch, the machine and the account involved, and the text of every alert.
  • Aisle 2. A list of software found on each machine, plus a record of each refusal and each request to permit something new.
  • Aisle 3. Headers, sender standing, links, attachments, and whatever staff submit through the reporting button. Judging a message means the platform reads it.
  • Aisle 4. Hardware and software inventory, update state, health readings, and where filtering is switched on, the addresses a device went to.
  • Aisle 5. Where sensitive files sit and which category they fall into. The survey notes locations; it does not haul the documents themselves back to us.
  • Aisle 6. Copies of precisely what you asked to have copied.

Order notes

Writing a note on your account page creates a record on our service system: the subject line, your text, our replies, and the address it arrived from. Those records stay for as long as you buy from us, and for a stretch afterwards, because answering a question about last March needs March written down somewhere.

Who else ever sees it

Nothing about you is for sale, and no arrangement exists here under which it could be. It moves only as far as operating the service requires.

  • Stripe, which handles payments and subscriptions.
  • Microsoft Azure, where this storefront and its billing service are hosted.
  • The vendor platform sitting under each line you hold: SentinelOne with Fluency in aisle 1, ThreatLocker in aisle 2, Ironscales in aisle 3, N-able N-sight alongside Addigy and Zimperium in aisle 4, Actifile in aisle 5, then N-able Cove with Dropsuite in aisle 6.
  • Our own service system, which stores order notes and their history.

Each of them works under an agreement with Fortify 24x7, and a vendor enters the picture only where you hold a line that actually runs on it.

How long we keep things

Billing and account records are held while the subscription lives and for seven years after it ends, because tax law requires that. Alert and telemetry windows depend on the line: plainer detection lines hold less, cross source lines hold more, and the figure is written down when your tenant gets built.

Backup retention is whatever the line you bought states on its catalog entry. Order notes outlast the subscription by roughly two years. Server logs are short lived.

What you are owed on request

You may ask to see whatever we hold, to have it corrected, to have it deleted where no law obliges us to keep it, or to have one particular use of it stopped. Send that from any address on the account to support@shopcyberdefense.com and an answer comes back inside thirty days, usually a great deal quicker.

Where deleting something would gut a backup line bought specifically to hold onto it, we lay the conflict out for you instead of quietly choosing a side.

How it is kept safe

Only engineers whose work requires it can reach your data. Administrative access needs more than one factor. Everything is encrypted while moving and encrypted where it rests, on every platform in this catalog, and our own access leaves a trail behind it.

Were something reportable ever to happen, you would hear it from us quickly and in plain words, with the known kept clearly apart from the not yet known.

When this page changes

Material change shifts the edition date printed beside the contents, and goes out to customers by email. Older editions are kept, and we will send one over if you ask. Nothing on this page gets edited on the quiet.
